Traceability
The distance between the farm and herbal products can be vast and complex.
This complexity introduces risks. Risk of adulteration, contamination, and inconsistent quality. How can we be certain of what we’re buying? The answer is traceability.
Think of our supply chain as a river. It begins in the soil and flows through each steps until it reaches our buyers. At every bend, there’s a record.. visible, verifiable, and traceable.
Origin
Our supply chain starts in the fields. We work with ICS (Internal Control System) groups, where one trained representative supports every 50 farmers. This ensures quality is built in from growing through harvest, not just tested at the end.
Cultivation
Our herbs are cultivated by smallholder farmers working under India’s NPOP organic standards. Through training and financial support, we help them grow consistently high-quality crops while caring for the land.
Transport
Every organic lot is logged in APEDA’s TraceNet system, linking farmers, our team, and certifiers on a government-monitored platform. This ensures full traceability as herbs move from the field to us.
Sorting & Processing
Herbs undergo processing steps as per specifications, including clearing and sorting, washing, drying, cutting, sieving, magnetic separation and more. All food contact surfaces are stainless steel as per GMP requirements of 21 CFR 117.
Microbe Reduction
The herbs undergo heat or steam treatment to ensure safety and compliance with international regulatory standards.
Lab Testing
Each batch is tested in our ISO-17025 accredited lab. Identity, purity, and active compounds are verified. Certificates of Analysis link directly to the lot.
Packing & Storage
Processed herbs are packed under GMP conditions. Herbs are packed to customer requirements, including MAP options like vacuum, CO₂, or nitrogen flushing. Finished goods are stored in dedicated facilities, with organic material clearly separated from other goods.
Shipping
Orders leave with full documents: Chain of Custody, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate. A QR code on the label confirms the journey.
